Through movement yoked with breath while the mind is fixated on the present moment; this allows the practitioner to ease the nervous system, gain clarity, build resilience, stabilize posture, improve flexibility, strengthen the body, enhance breath capacity, and alleviate many maladies that are caused simply by separation of mind and body. Evidence based research has shown again and again the power that yoga has in the healing process. Overtime, yoga begins to teach the individual how to tap into the innate ability within the body to heal itself.
