Kimberley Puryear

Kimberley Puryear

ERYT500, YACEP

Kimberley’s personal practice began in 2003 as a way to deal with her mother’s illness and passing. Yoga’s ability to calm, soothe, strengthen, and heal led Kimberley to deepen her practice and understanding of this ancient science. Her passion for meditation, mindful movement, and Yin Yoga have inspired her to share the healing powers of these ancient practices with others. She practices and is trained in Shamatha meditation (Shambhala lineage) under the direction of her teacher, Susan Piver and is deeply inspired by the teachings of Chogyam Trungpa, Sakyong Mipham, Pema Chodron and Thich Nhat Hahn.

Kimberley is passionate about helping students find connections between their practice on the mat and in their everyday lives. Her classes will challenge you to practice from a place of honest exploration, acceptance, and personal freedom. The result is a fun and educational class that empowers each student to create their own practice, using their own strengths and weaknesses. Kimberley’s authentic, warm and lighthearted spirit will encourage you to find your own yoga voice! She is registered with the Yoga Alliance at both the E-RYT 200 and 500 hour Advanced Studies levels and she is so happy to share these ever unfolding practices with you!

Kelsy Timas

RYT200

As a California native, Kelsy was raised by principles reflected in the eight limb path and naturally discovered the asana practice at a very young age. Her passion for the yoga lifestyle was sealed while in college where she studied with her very first “Teacher” rooted in the Hatha traditions. Yoga provided her a profound recovery after a major surgery and mindfulness and meditation opened her eyes to the amazing ability to heal using the mind-body connection. Kelsy’s teaching platform draws from over 20 years of study and experience in Medical Management, Holistic Health, Energy Medicine, Classical Yoga, MBSR and Meditation, Health Coaching and a multitude of Bodyways. Her passion remains focused on serving the members of our military, veterans, providers/caregivers and the severely underserved populations. Kelsy is the Founding Director of Guiding Wellness Institute, 200 RYT, Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, and Holistic Life Coach. A proud member of the American Holistic Health Association, International Association of Yoga Therapists and Yoga Alliance.
